I'll program your Baofeng/Pofung, Kenwood or Leixen (and many other) radios for you!

I use the latest version software and cables with updated chip-set, so you'll get channel names, not just frequency on the display, as with keypad programming.

Here's what your $15 gets you (space permitting):

I will program 3 radios for the price of 2 (pay for two, ship three) or 5 for the price of 3 (pay for three, ship 5). Radios can be different models as long as they need the same channels programmed.

Buyer pays for shipping.

Some terms and other important information you should read before ordering:

It is your responsibility and yours alone to not listen to or transmit on any frequency you are not allowed to listen to or transmit on.

Remember to enclose clearly marked (postage paid) SASE or address label so I can return your radios. I recommend springing for tracking. Mailing the radio back to you without tracking will be documented with high definition (HD) video. I take no responsibility with what happens in the mail, but will be happy to assist US mail with any inquiries.

Expect me to use up to five business days before I can return your radio (you want me to do this right, don't you?).

Please check the list for the make and model for both software AND cable before ordering.

Info for foreign customers: I understand English, Norwegian, Danish and Swedish just fine. If you can't find international reply stamps, you'll have to pay extra for the return postage (cost, no extras): https://postcalc.usps.com. I will write “POLICE SCANNER/2-WAY-RADIOclearly on your package, so if you try to order where illegal, expect your radio to be confiscated by your local authorities at your own risk and expense.

Other questions (FAQ)

CAVEAT EMPTOR! I offer no guarantees. This is not a service performed by professional, but then again, so does the price reflect. If you order more expensive radios from specialty suppliers, programming is often included, so if money is no object, you may want to consider buying a more expensive radio like a Motorola or Yaesu from a reputable vendor. Alternatively GMRS/FRS, CB and/or MURS radios that you buy in the store can be used as-is (do not need any programming)! Feel free to check out the competition. Their prices start at $35, but I assume they are a brick and mortar store with trained professionals and might be well worth it if you need advanced things like satellite programming or encrypted modes.

  1. Can I use my Baofeng UV5-R on CB frequencies? No, can't be done (Wrong frequency and wrong mode).

  2. Can I use my Baofeng UV5-R on airplane/airport tower frequencies? No, can't be done (Wrong frequency and wrong mode)

  3. Why can't you program two way communication Police/Fire/EMS channels? It's a lot of extra work and might not be legal for civilians, but I guess I can if you pay $45 extra and I send the radios to a fire-station or police/sheriff department address I can find/verify on line, so I'm legally in the clear.

  4. Can I ask just a few questions unrelated to your services before buying/ordering? No: I have wasted hours on people that never ordered from me, so I no longer offer ANY guidance prior to payment. Sorry, but I will no longer be exploited.

  5. Can I get a secure/secret channel just for me and my buddies that none else can listen in on? No. Impossible and/or illegal.

  6. What antennas do I need? Se number 4.

  7. What is my radio's range? Se number 4.

  8. How do I get an amateur/business/other license? Se number 4.

  9. What adapter/cable/power do I need for my antenna? Se number 4.
